The public is welcome to attend a memorial for Kyle Harty Strang (left), the Berkeley High junior who died in a car crash with his friend Prentice Gray on March 31.

The memorial is being held in the Berkeley High School Little Theater on Tuesday April 27,  from 5-7 pm.

Kyle Strang, 16, and Prentice Theodore Gray, 19, were driving northbound on the Richmond Parkway around 12:35 pm on March 31 when their car lost control and traveled into the southbound lanes. The car collided with the bus and got jammed under its front wheels.

A candlelight vigil was held in honor of both students on April 2.

A Facebook page has been set up in memory of both boys. It has 973 members as of this writing. A dedicated blog has also been launched for friends and family to share their memories of Kyle Strang.
