Cops look for 7-Eleven robbers

    Armed robbery..for $275 apiece…hmmm..I hope when the spend 20 yrs behind bars they think about how they could have made that money without threatening someone’s life over it.

    They are “suspected” of robbing the store? Come on. These are pictures of two people with guns. How can there be any question that they robbed the store?

    @David desJardins

    It’s called “innocent until proven guilty” and it’s part of the foundation of our justice system. The suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty (within a reasonable doubt) in a court of law. The burden of proof is on the accusers, not the accused (though it looks like it will be pretty much a slam-dunk case). That’s how we do it in this country.

    @Bryan: Come on. The people in the picture, without doubt, committed the crime. If some individuals were arrested, then those people would be presumed innocent. They might argue that they aren’t actually the ones in the picture, for example. But how can you possibly argue that it’s only “suspected” that the people in the picture pointing a gun at the clerk were robbing the store? Are you going to claim it might not be robbery because maybe the owner of the store asked them to do it? This seems like political correctness run amok.
