    I finally succeeded in dragging my husband into Gather today. Excellent “rustic” tomato soup and a very nice mussel and calamari salad. My only real criticism was that the wild boar sandwich was slightly too spicy. (I’d never eaten wild boar before. Good enough, but not as flavorful as well-roasted domestic pork.) The service is rather earnest, but also courteous and efficient. I just wish the drinks were cheaper, but I wish that everywhere.
