One Berkeleyside editor spent many happy hours compiling several super-cool maps showing how Berkeleyans voted, precinct by precinct. The results, Berkeley voting: Where you live is how you vote… sort of, was our most popular story this week.

Two stories on the recently launched Berkelesyide NOSH piqued the interest of many of you: Anna Mindess’s wonderful interview with Noriko Taniguchi, owner of under-the-radar Japanese restaurant Norikonoko, was our second most popular article this week measured by pageviews; while our sneak peek of La Fournée, a new French-style bakery coming to the Claremont neighborhood in January, had readers salivating.

Tom Bates wants to move away from City Councilman Kriss Worthington. Not politically. Just physically. Why? “So I don’t strangle him,” the mayor told Berkeleyside, only half jokingly.

New garbage bin pick-up plans: Impossible in Berkeley? Our story on the city’s new guidelines on residential waste bins has already prompted a slew of responses with many Berkeleyans expressing concern over how they are going to be able to comply with the rules.
