    As someone who re-uses his plastic shopping bags for a wide variety of things around the house, this shopping bag crap is a real thorn in my side.

    Now instead of using bags for carrying groceries and then lining trash cans, picking up dog doo, lining the litter box, keeping paint brushes from drying out overnight and so on, I have to buy specialized plastic bags for each purpose. Which I can only buy wrapped in wasteful packaging, and which use more plastic since they are normally more than twice as thick as normal plastic grocery bags.
