    And the Cal women beat UCLA at L.A. this evening, 79-51, leaving them still tied with Stanford for #1 in the Pac-12:

    Come on, Berkeleyside–give the Cal gals some love. They are ranked #6 in the nation, and Berkeley High alumna Brittany Boyd had 10 steals tonight.

    Thanks for the heads up. Went with the family to the Oregon St game on Sunday — added bonus, we got vouchers for free tickets while waiting in line. The Cal gals did not disappoint (well, maybe in the first half). Kids had fun and the game was a nail biter — Cal finally got the lead in the final minutes and managed to hang on.
