This is a partial list of recent crimes in Berkeley, compiled by Berkeleyside, and based on reports to the Berkeley Police Department unless otherwise noted. The following items represent just a sampling of calls, and times may be approximate. From Feb. 14-20, there were 17 burglary reports20 auto break-in or theft from a vehicle reports, and eight stolen vehicle reports to the Berkeley Police Department, according to CrimeMapping.comTen robberies and 17 assaults, domestic violence incidents or batteries were reported. These numbers are subject to change. Feb. 14, Thursday

Two vehicles were reported stolen, first at 8 a.m. from the 1400 block of Curtis Street and then at 5 p.m. from San Pablo and Ashby avenues.

There were four reported home burglaries: at 10:30 a.m. in the 800 block of Arlington Avenue; at 11 a.m. in the 1200 block of Blake Street; at noon in the 2400 block of Channing Way; and at 1 p.m. in the 1200 block of Parker Street. A commercial burglary also was reported, at 5 p.m. in the 2000 block of Francisco Street.

There were three reported auto burglaries: in the 1500 block of Shattuck Avenue at 2:30 p.m.; in the 1200 block of Fourth Street at 4:20 p.m.; and at Rose Street and Keoncrest Drive at 4:24 p.m.

Two robberies were reported, at California and Fairview streets at 6 p.m., and in the 2200 block of Shattuck at 7:19 p.m.

A felony assault/battery was reported in the 2700 block of Wallace Street at 8:50 p.m.

Feb. 15, Friday

Two robberies were reported, at 7:15 a.m. at Alcatraz Avenue and California Street; and at 6:50 p.m. at Roosevelt Avenue and Channing Way.

There were three reported home burglaries, in the 2700 block of Haste Street at 9 a.m., in the 1200 block of Blake at 5:30 p.m., and in the 100 block of Claremont Crescent at 6 p.m.

An incident of felony theft (over $950) was reported in the 2600 block of Sacramento Street at 2 p.m.

A theft from a vehicle was reported at 6 p.m. in the 1300 block of Rose Street, and an auto burglary was reported at 7:20 p.m. in the 1200 block of Curtis Street.

A vehicle was reported to have been stolen from the 2300 block of College Avenue at 11 p.m.

Feb. 16, Saturday

A home burglary was reported at 2:08 a.m. in the 2100 block of Ninth Street.

A vehicle was reported stolen from Shattuck and Indian Rock avenues at 5:15 p.m.

A theft from a vehicle was reported at 11:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of Beverly Place.

Feb. 17, Sunday

A felony sexual assault was reported at midnight in the 2300 block of Piedmont Avenue.

Two robberies were reported, at 2:30 a.m. in the 2300 block of Bancroft Way, and at 5:14 p.m. at Alcatraz and California.

Four auto burglaries were reported, at 8 a.m. at Francisco and Grant streets; at 2 p.m. in the 1300 block of Spruce Street; at 7:30 p.m. at Milvia and Addison streets; and at 9 p.m. in the 2800 block of Regent Street.

A felony assault/battery was reported at 10:57 a.m. at Burnett and Mabel streets.

A vehicle was reported stolen from the 2100 block of San Pablo Avenue at 6:12 p.m.

A felony theft was reported in the 1600 block of Russell Street at 7:18 p.m.

Feb. 18, Monday

Two thefts from vehicle were reported, at 3 a.m. in the 2300 block of Blake Street, and at 10:56 a.m. in the 1400 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way.

Robberies were reported at 3:15 a.m. in the 2600 block of Piedmont Avenue, and at 10:45 p.m. at Dwight Way and Hillegass Avenue.

A home burglary was reported at 10 a.m. in the 1600 block of Sixth Street.

Four auto burglaries were reported throughout the night, at 5:10 p.m. in the 2400 block of Durant Avenue; at 5:15 p.m. at Fifth and Harrison streets; at 6 p.m. in an unlisted location; and at 7 p.m. in the 400 block of Gilman Street.

A felony assault/battery was reported in the 2600 block of Martin Luther King at 9:15 p.m.

A commercial burglary was reported at 10:30 p.m. in the 2900 block of College Avenue.

Feb. 19, Tuesday

A robbery was reported at 10:30 a.m. in the 1700 block of Rose Street.

Three vehicles were reported stolen, at 11 a.m. in the 2100 block of Berkeley Way; at 11:30 a.m. in the 2800 block of Cherry Street; and at 11 p.m. in the 200 block of University Avenue.

Three auto burglaries were reported, at noon in the 1400 block of Walnut Street; at 4 p.m. at Claremont Avenue and Woolsey Street; and at 5:30 p.m. at Fifth and Gilman streets.

A weapon brandishing was reported at 1 p.m. in the 2000 block of University Avenue, and a gun/weapon call came in at Woolsey and Harper streets at 4:21 p.m.

Feb. 20, Wednesday

Five home burglaries were reported, at 6:30 a.m. in the 2100 block of Virginia Street; at 8:30 a.m. in the 1600 block of Fairview Street; at 12:30 a.m. in the 1600 block of Parker; at 2:39 p.m. in the 1500 block of Parker; and at 4 p.m., again in the 1600 block of Fairview.

A commercial burglary was reported at 7:30 a.m. in the 1200 block of Milvia Street.

A felony theft (over $950) was reported in the 2600 block of Bancroft Way at 12:30 p.m.

A robbery was reported at Durant and Shattuck avenues at 4:20 p.m.

A felony sexual assault was reported at 4:29 p.m. in the 1600 block of Addison Street.

A theft from a vehicle was reported at 7 p.m. in the 2400 block of McKinley Avenue.

A gun/weapon call came in at 7 p.m. in the 2200 block of San Pablo Avenue.
