The great tenor Placido Domingo is performing at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley on Saturday September 7, and, thanks to Another Planet Entertainment, Berkeleyside is delighted to be able to offer our readers two pairs of free tickets (regular individual ticket price is $425).

Domingo, 73, who has been called “the greatest operatic artist of modern times,” is also a respected conductor, and is the General Director of Los Angeles Opera and Washington National Opera.
His vocal repertoire encompasses 140 stage roles, and he has made more than 100 recordings of complete operas. He is known for his collaboration with José Carreras and the late Luciano Pavarotti as the Three Tenors, who performed with enormous success all over the world.
In Berkeley, he will appear with guests Angel Joy Blue, Micäela Oeste and Eugene Kohn, as well as with the Berkeley Symphony Orchestra.
