Halloween/Day of the Dead Celebration

A cross-cultural Halloween/Day of the Dead (El Día de los Muertos) Celebration at the South Berkeley Farmers' Market sponsored by the Ecology Center. Featuring live Aztec dance, live Caribbean music (Asheba), free all-ages costume making, face painting, a Day of the Dead Altar, and more.

Institute for Advancement (BAHIA). The public is invited

to bring an offering of any kind to add to the altar and

celebrate with us as our community honors life, farmers' labor, and those that have sacrificed their health and lives for our well being and for food justice.
