    Our week-long Summer Camps offer a variety of fun and enriching hands-on projects which teach students how to use technology creatively.

    Camps include Building projects with LEGO® gears and motors, Robotics with MINDSTORMS® EV3® and LEGO® Bluetooth WeDo® 2.0, Pokémon Game Design with Scratch®, Girls STEAM camps, and Programming with Java and Python.

    Our affordable STEM offerings are available to students, ages 5-15, at over 20 locations in the San Francisco Bay Area.

  • Sticky Art Lab

    Sticky Art Lab has an exciting array of art-based maker camps throughout the summer, with different themes and lead artists each week. With our focus on reuse, each day offers a balance of structured teaching and free-build for creative exploration! Themes include Clay, Mask Making, Art Meets Tech, Wood Shop, Shadow Magic, Nature & Music, and Printmaking. Camp weeks run from July 2 – Aug 24, 2018.

  • Square School

    Square School Design Camps allow young people to try out a variety of design identities as they experience joy and agency in learning with technology. We are offering four unique one week design camps for young people this summer. Spend time in the studio and time outside recharging. Each week has a different theme: 6/18-6/22 Game Design, 6/25-6/29 Fashion Design, 7/16-7/20 Minecraft Architecture, and 7/23-7/27 Circuit Playground.

  • Fiddlekids Summer Camp

    Now in its twenty-first year, Fiddlekids is a unique, fun-filled summer day camp devoted to traditional fiddle music. Fiddlekids features learning & playing by ear, improvisation, traditional dance, music-based art, and a final performance at the Freight & Salvage. Boasting an experienced teaching staff and a wonderfully supportive atmosphere, Fiddlekids has introduced hundreds of youngsters to a lively and expansive fiddle repertoire. We welcome young violinists and fiddlers with at least one year of violin playing experience. No previous fiddle knowledge is required.

  • École Bilingue de Berkeley

    At Le Camp d’Été, campers will brush up on their French with our native French instructors, and take part in a variety of incredibly fun activities throughout the week such as: judo, maker, tennis, drum circle, lego, mad science, soccer, cooking, art and more! There are weekly field trips at the Oakland Zoo, the California Academy of Science and the Exploratorium, among others.

    The Mini-Camp is offered to students in Preschool and Kindergarten, while the Junior Camp is open to students entering Grade 1 to 6.

  • Cazadero Music Camp

    For more than 60 years, Cazadero has offered a dynamic music camp that strikes a thoughtful balance between in-depth music education and carefree summer camp fun. We provide a nurturing, inspirational environment for young musicians ages 10-18. Caz is located near the Russian River in Sonoma County where young musicians learn together under a canopy of spectacular redwood trees. Campers attend for one or two week sessions, based on grade level and musical experience.

    Learn to sew this summer at Camp Stitch! At Hello Stitch Studio, we provide a supportive, fun, and stress-free atmosphere for exploring adventures in sewing. Just like learning to ride a bike, learning to sew is a life skill your camper will never forget. We provide access to our sewing machines, tools and supplies.   • Berkeley High Crew

    Established in 2009, Berkeley High Crew’s summer rowing program offers local students, ages 11 and up, a chance to try this unique, growing sport with the Berkeley High School Crew coaches and current team members. No experience necessary! Registration is limited to 30 participants. We offer three weeks of Learn-to-Row camps for new rowers: June 25–29, July 23–27, and August 13–17. Campers can sign up for one or more camps.

    Berkeley Ballet Theater’s summer workshops, open to new and returning students, offer unparalleled training under world-class faculty for beginning, intermediate, and advanced dancers in a diverse, supportive environment.   • Academic Talent Development Program

    UC Berkeley’s ATDP offers challenging summer courses for highly motivated young scholars in grades K-11. Since 1982, students have come to our sites to take exciting classes designed for academic advancement and enrichment.  Examples of past courses include, Rainforests, Math Magic, and Programming in Java. Secondary Division is held for six weeks at the UC Berkeley campus and Elementary Division is held for three weeks at Washington School in Point Richmond.
