According to The Bay Area Reporter, the Pacific Center, one of the most established LGBT community centers in the country, may move from Berkeley to Oakland this summer. The owner of the buildings on Telegraph Avenue where the Pacific Center has been based since 1978 has put the properties on the market for $1.7 million. The center’s lease expires at the end of July.
