Our camp is it’s own tiny world; a community that we create together every day. Each camp day runs from 9am-3:30pm with the option to add before care (8:30-9am) and after care (3:30-5:30pm). Shared snacks and mealtime shape the outline of our day, and between gathering times, children choose to participate in a structured activity like kickball, fishing or mask-making or choose to use the unstructured time to build, climb, read or make art.

The Wonderful Idea Co. Camp gives participants the chance to experiment with art, science and technology. At each week-long program, we’ll experiment with projects that blend art, science, computational thinking and technology in strange and delightful ways. The program will include introduction to STEAM topics, the maker movement and combining coding with physical construction.

At each week-long session, campers ages 8-11 will tinker with projects that blend art, science, computational thinking and technology in strange and delightful ways. Each day will be full of surprises. We may find ourselves building a programmable marble machine, creating micro:bit powered name tags, crafting with cardboard boxes or designing elements for a kinetic sculpture parade that travels over land, air and water.
